Lisa Hershberger graduated from Misericordia University in 2019 with her Bachelor’s of Health
Science and Master’s of Speech-Language Pathology degrees. Lisa is a member of the
American Speech-Language Hearing Association and maintains an active Certificate of Clinical
Competency. She is fully licensed by the state of Maryland. Lisa has experience working with
individuals of all ages across a variety of settings: public and private schools, medical
outpatient clinic, home-based early intervention, and private practice. She has experience with
speech sound disorders, receptive/expressive language delays, stuttering, Augmentative and
Alternative Communication (AAC), social language disorders, aphasia, traumatic brain injury,
Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and other genetic disorders. Lisa is passionate
about working with clients and their families to encourage functional communication skills and
increased independence within academic, social, and/or occupation settings. Outside of work,
she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and cooking new recipes.
