Lauren Cherry completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication, Science, & Disorders at Penn State University. She then went on to complete her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. Lauren has experience working in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, private practice, and school-based settings. She is currently a certified myofunctional speech therapist and enjoys specializing in areas including eliminating oral motor habits (such as prolonged thumb sucking) and improper tongue positioning at rest, during speech, and when swallowing. She also has experience working with adults and children in other areas, including but not limited to, speech sound disorders, social-pragmatic disorders, expressive and receptive language, fluency, aphasia, and cognition. Lauren is also a trained Gestalt Language Processing clinician.
