Kristen Mitchell is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist who has experience assessing and providing treatment in early intervention, speech sound disorders, fluency, social communication, expressive / receptive language disorders, voice, motor speech disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Kristen earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from George Washington University and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Kristen furthered her studies by achieving a certificate in Early Intervention through Georgetown University. She actively pursues continuing education to stay current with evidence-based therapy approaches. Known for her compassionate approach, creativity in sessions, and collaboration with families, Kristen is dedicated to making therapy both meaningful and motivating. Her work focuses on building confidence, connection, and communication across settings. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys exercising, going to the beach, yoga, and spending time with her mini dachshund (Otis). |
